The special key: #iMentor with Harkheindzel Kenny O.

A key that opens all you have been waiting for.

This reminds me of a movie I watched long ago, “The day the earth stood still” with Keanu Reeves.

The tale of an Alien who came with an Annihilation protocol to cleanse the earth of humanity. He met with a certain doctor who made him see another side to humanity.

Until he felt the other side of humanity… He did what he said couldn’t be done. He eventually helped save the humanity he came to destroy.

The Bible gives a better illustration of this scenario. The scenario of Jesus with the canaanite woman.

Matthew 15:
21 Jesus went out from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.

22 Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!”

23 But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.”

24 But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

25 But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.”

26 But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”

27 But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”

28 Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.

Let us study this case. It’s a situation of divine exemption. Realise that at that time, it was not time for Jesus to aid whoever is not a Jew. (verse 24). This response was not to the woman but to his disciples. Jesus chose NOT TO respond to the woman. He gave her no attention whatsoever!

However the persistence of the woman created a breakthrough for her (even though she did not realise the divine law she just used.)

What opened the way for her was her “Worship”. This act made Jesus do what he didn’t want to do. Worship always gets the Lord’s attention.

A times crying for mercy may not get the attention of God. But if you are persistent, switch to worship and see how things will change.

Worship made Jesus to pay attention to the woman. Jesus never wanted to respond to the woman, but he couldn’t deny the spiritual processes in play as the woman worshipped him. His obstinate countenance was broken. Worship did that!!

The response of Jesus shows that his attention had been gotten. He however told the woman that he wasn’t supposed to do anything for her. Here is the next phase, if the woman had kept saying “please… Please…”, things may not have changed for her.

She chose not to be offended at the response and attitude of Jesus. She was bent on getting what she wanted.

Worship opened the door for her, but Wisdom made her go into the door. The wisdom of her response was undeniable. It was astounding. Her WISDOM was demonstrated as a result of her FAITH. And this was what broke the hedge for her.

This Principle works on any plane…. Once you know how it’s used.

The decision you make on the day of trouble… When you can stare at death in the face can hold the key to your salvation or redemption. The way you choose to respond will decide if you will get it or you will lose it.

I quote klaatu in the movie; “The day the Earth stood still”;
He said;

“Your professor was right. At the precipice, we change”

When we get to a point when we cannot go back until we get an answer from God. When the only thing that can save us is God. This is the critical point in our lives. This is what can make us free.

Take time to read the reference scriptures again and follow the progression.

There’s a lot you can learn from this woman… This ‘Woman of Faith.”

In summary, when you go to God, even if you are not in his good books, you can only go to Him with mercy, but when it seems the plea for mercy bounces back at you, don’t give up.
Drop before him in brokenness and worship (worship is a spiritual thing, it can’t be feigned or faked. Worship is sincere). So when you breakthrough with your worship, Show God your faith. God never refuses faith (because this is what pleases Him).

You will come back with a testimony.

May you always walk in the faith of the Lord,
