Destroy the source, the maggots will die!

When there is decadence within a system. Knowing what to do may be a problem. Knowing how to solve it is another issue. It’s time to cut the chase,

WE’VE ALL GOT MAGGOTS!!

Many of us just have it decently covered. But the moment everyone isn’t looking again, we get buried in it again… Trying to sort it out.
This is not rocket science. It is plainly before us, the solution is right before our eyes, so why are we doing nothing about it?

Have we grown to tolerate the maggots?
Have we accommodated the smell and made it part of us?
Have we created a special file for it?
Do we enjoy seeing the maggots wiggle and snuggle on it. (I feel irritated already!)

If all you keep saying is no! No! No!, then why do you still have the maggots in your life, in your family, in your church, in your business,.. Why?

I remember many days ago when I was praying, the Lord took me in a vision and showed me the state of a particular church. Outside was decently dressed, looking good, nice and lovable, but He took me beyond the clothes and I was shocked at the sight of it…

MAGGOTS!
THEY WERE EVERYWHERE!!

The problem is this:
The maggots may seem harmless, but they are wrecking damage. The evil thing about those squiny organisms is that… As they keep destroying, they keep multiplying.

In this case it will be unwise to waste you time in killing them one by one,
First, it will take your time,
And even if you finish em, a lot would have been lost.

The best way is to go for the source and stop it.
The source is the wound, the filth, the garbage, the smell…

Attack the source of the problem,
not the symptom.

Flies breed and
ultimately lay their eggs, which
become maggots. Flies breed mainly
in decaying meat and fish. This
means that if you want to prevent
maggots from being able to hatch,
you’ll need to stop allowing excess
meat and fish into your trash.

I almost didn’t use a pix for this blog because the pictures I had for maggots were to graphic, even as I am typing this post I feel like… Ummm… Excuse me…. (pukes..).

Sighs…
I guess this pix is not as bad? Nevertheless, don’t be fooled by that maggot.

So where was I?

Ok, let me end this post with the story of a maggot I had to deal with in my life a long time ago.

It was one I had to destroy, a bridge I had to cut off and break.
There was this movie one time like that I watched, I bought it, but when I watched it, some scenes were not tolerable with my spirit, so I stopped watching it. But in a few days time, I will slot in the same movie again, watch it to an extent, then remove it again. As long as I had the movie on my cd rack, there was always this temptation to play it. So one day when i was tempted again to play it, I got angry with how much I had allowed the movie to enslave me, so I took it, broke it, and threw it in the trash. I waited till the trash was taken away. Then I had peace.

The issue is… If you keep tolerating the issues that are causing problems in your life, it will only get worse.
Don’t leave your life to chance, or time for that matter. Take the bull by the horn and take actions. The only thing you can do to start the healing process is to destroy the source of that maggot.

The source is usually obvious. Go for it and make sure it is destroyed. When this is done… Only then can the healing really begin. Never leave your life to chance or time. Don’t be lazy, don’t procrastinate, you have just one life to live. Don’t let the maggots ruin it for you.

I pray God helps you to see more than the texts in this post. So right now, after reading this post. You already know your maggots, stand up and GO DESTROY IT!!
