The church- glorious ruins:

I was playing yesterday at the chapel of resurrection grounds in the University of Ibadan. As I was worshipping the Lord. Ruach hakodesh began to reveal somethings… Alot of things actually. Some of which are personal. But there is one thing I will like to share from all Ruach told me, and that is the plan of God for the church.
Ruach works in line with the knowledge of things we already known so I was not surprised when he used the glorious ruins analogy(I will get back to that in time). God created the church to be his embassy. Need I say this, the church is not just the building or the structure but the people.

The world is supposed to come to the church for EVERYTHING! as incredible as this may sound. This is how things are suppose to be. The church is supposed to be seen as a people who enjoy heaven on earth already. So the world was to have a foretaste of heaven from the church. The *ZOE* is supposed to be so strong in the church that the dying world runs to the church for sustainability.

But where did we go wrong?!

The church that is supposed to be life is living in fear of death,

the church that ought to be light is embracing darkness,

the church that ought to dominate, legislate, take charge, impose and rule is asleep.

But rejoice! I hear in my spirit…

“In a short while, and now is. The heavens will be shaken, the earth will be shaken, the sea and the dry land will be shaken, the nations will be shaken and the desires of the people will come. Then the glory of the Lord will show up.”

The life of God will bask everything. And the Ruins of the church will come back to life again!

Whether you are awake or not. This will happen! The shaking will bring all sleeping souls to life and the rivers of life will flow upon the earth from the heavens. And the Kingdom of God will come!

Are you ready for this?
Brace yourselves!

I can’t wait to be a part of this.

May you walk in the faith of the Lord.

Yours in the Lord,
Harkheindzel Kenny O.
