In search of grace.
As this is our month of walking Into divine grace. We need to know a few things about this grace.
The new testament is a one of grace. I believe this
shouldn’t be new to us. This is in view of the distinct
ethics and norms. We are no more under the power and
judgement of the law but under grace. But grace isn’t a
liberty to sin, it’s an empowerment not to sin. The
moment you see it this way. Your attitude will change.
Alot of people seek grace whereas…. Grace is all around
them. The grace of God is so enormously sufficient for all.
We just have to tap into it and live in it. A life of grace is
not sin conscious, but God conscious. This is the
perspective that changes things. How do you look at
things. This will determine if you are sin conscious or
grace conscious.. Watch yourself for the next few days.
Are you so quick to point out errors, sins, what shouldn’t
be, what someone does wrong? Or you view things from
the angle of grace, what is right, what pleases God and
doesn’t hurt man.
Let’s ponder on this.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
This is the way to walk before God. Grace in Faith in Him.
Rom 1:5 through whom we received grace and the office of apostle, for obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name’s sake;
Rom 4:16 For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace, to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.
Rom 5:2 through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Rom 12:6 Having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, if prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;
2Co 8:7 But as you abound in everything, in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in the love from us that is in you, see that you also abound in this grace.
Eph 2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,.
May you walk in the faith of the Lord.
